Testimonials

 M year 6

My daughter is 10 and struggles with organisation and overwhelm, she struggles to regulate her emotions, she is learning such valuable life skills from Rachel.

E year 11

For anyone struggling with a child with low self esteem and difficulties regulating emotions I would highly recommend Rachel, my son began the sessions very typical teen and socially awkward however he was soon put at ease and came out of his shell, he looks forward to the sessions with Rachel!

S year 11

S is really positive ... he said the way you put it he hadn't thought of and made sense.

Interactive approach

In the past we have attended many therapy sessions with CAMHS and The NHS however we found that there were lots of heavy questions and talking about how he feels which overwhelmed him, my son has bonded so well with Rachel and her playful, interactive approach is perfect for him.

Getting creative

Rachel's playful approach is brilliant, they get creative and make things together relating to the topics, the last session she came home with a little jar full of affirmations and they learnt a short little dance together which my daughter loved!

She is learning lots but without even realising it because the sessions are fun !

Achieving

Sounds like you’ve achieved what we desperately wanted to, but couldn’t - it isn’t always easy taking advice from parents, is it!? Will keep you posted.

 Understanding myself

the pace you took was perfect, it didn't feel like you rushed, you worked with me and helped me even understand myself and how I was feeling - you even helped me find out what the main thing was that developed this fear which I wouldn't have been able to do on my own! This changed my outlook because since then I have not worried about making the wrong decision I just took it as an opportunity for opening new doors - I saw it as another possibility not another obsticle!

Struggling with anxiety and depression

Having a child that is struggling with anxiety and depression is frightening. Knowing that she had someone else to confide is was invaluable. Rachel was a calm and understanding influence. Rachel helped her understand that her feelings were valid and that it was ok to ask for help. I cannot thank her enough for being that listening ear, unwavering support & always without judgement. Rachel, you truly make a difference. Thank you

Without judgement

When I first started feeling overwhelmed with school and had difficulties with my friendship groups, I didn’t really know who to turn to, but something about her made me feel comfortable enough to open up. I had a lot going on, and I didn’t always know how to deal with it, but she listened to me without judgment and really seemed to care...Ms Brown made me feel like I wasn’t alone. She gave me the confidence to keep going, even when things felt impossible.
